The Queer Closet is a collection of illustrated outfits in mundane settings. The clothes are a collage of pieces found on Instagram under the hashtag #thisiswhatnonbinarylookslike as well as mainstream and high fashion finds.

The items were selected to play with the expectations of gender norms. Whether the clothing was chosen as a form of self-expression on social media or a conscious effort to defy gender norms in the context of a brand, put in the context of queerness it should challenge the cisnormative idea of gender expression.
